Lingual Braces Straighten Your Smile From The Inside Out

Why We Offer Lingual Braces

Do you love to share your smile? For far too many people, the answer is no. And while you know that you could improve your smile with braces, you also hesitate to commit yourself to months and months of being a “brace-face.”

Here at Mountain Shadows Family Dentistry we understand that this can be a concern for patients of all ages. That’s why we’re proud to give you other options for your orthodontic care, including lingual braces.

How Mountain Shadows Family Dentistry Helps: We Can Discreetly Straighten Your Smile

The biggest distinction between lingual braces and conventional braces is that these attach to the inside surface of your teeth, also known as the “lingual” area or the tongue side. This makes your orthodontic care invisible to the rest of the world.

With lingual braces, the brackets, wires and even the elastics are all mounted to the back of your teeth, which is a desirous option if you don’t want people to know you are wearing braces. Whether you are a teenager or an adult who has a career where appearance is an important factor, lingual braces are a way to get the treatment you need to correct your smile without other people having to know about it.

Lingual braces are not offered at all dental or orthodontic offices. Dr. Holsteen has been through special training in order to offer them as a treatment. We are confident in offering you—our patients—this service. To find out more about lingual braces, contact us today by calling 719-598-3502 or emailing us.

With a quick and simple consultation Dr. Holsteen will let you know if lingual braces can work for you.

I've been seeing Dr. Holsteen since 1992! The staff is wonderful! They are friendly and they talk to you! They are not robots! (Not to mention they play my favorite oldies station on Pandora when I go in!) I love these professionals because they make you feel at home!
