The way that you smile at the world can greatly impact the impression you make and the confidence you communicate. With dentistry’s many advances, you no longer have to settle for teeth that are stained, chipped, misaligned or poorly shaped. You now have choices that can help you smile with confidence. Even small changes in the way you smile at the world around you can dramatically affect what you communicate to others about yourself.
Talk to our staff about the improvement you’d like to see in your smile, what your options are for achieving those goals and the cost involved. Some options are:
- Tooth whitening (bleaching) brightens teeth that are discolored or stained. Whitening may be done completely in the dental office or through the use of pre-fabricated or custom trays that you can use at home
- Bonding can improve the appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, stained or have spaces between them. With bonding, tooth-colored materials are applied, or bonded, to the tooth surface
- Veneers are thin custom-made shells designed to cover the front side of teeth. Made of tooth-colored materials, veneers are used to treat spaces between teeth and teeth that are chipped or worn, permanently stained, poorly shaped or slightly crooked. Veneers are similar to bonding but are made by our lab and then cemented or bonded to the teeth
- Braces are not just for kids. Orthodontics may be needed if teeth are crooked, crowded or do not meet properly for chewing and speaking. If Dr. Holsteen and Dr. Rivard thinks you should see a specialist for treatment, he will refer you to one of the many excellent orthodontists in our community.
